Even as a mother, and an educator I can still use this reminder from NAEYC that what children say matters.

Children's Art
How many times do you notice parents take their child's art, fold it up and carry it in their hands like they just collected a flyer? Now I am a parent and I know that I cannot possibly treat every piece of artwork that comes home like gold, however we as educators can find new ways to attract attention to children's art in order to give it the respect and appreciation it deserves.
Recently some of my colleagues created and ART SHOW in the Project Room for parents to casually stop by and take a peek at their leisure. They displayed the children's projects and artwork in a way that caught the attention of not only the parents but the children as well. It was a huge hit, and parents stayed and admired their children's work.
Framing children's art takes it to a whole new level
